CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – Updated at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday: Although two outbuildings have been destroyed by the fire, the fire has been mapped and stopped at 65 acres.

A little after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the Oregon Department of Forestry Southwest Oregon District, along with Jackson County Fire District #3, responded to a fire on Table Rock Road and Latigo Lane.
ODF said the fire was being driven by the wind.
Level 2 (BE SET!) Evacuations are still in place overnight: South of Latigo Ln, North of E. Vilas Rd, East of Table Rock Rd, West of HWY 62, Central Point.
Acreage: 65
All active fire has been extinguished!
Damage: Two outbuildings were destroyed in the fire, but nearby homes were left without damage.
Firefighting Efforts: Firefighters are on the scene mopping up.
