Heavy rain with already saturated ground can produce some minor to moderate flooding on Thursday and Friday.
If cloud cover stays extensive throughout the morning, the severe weather threat may lessen this afternoon and evening. If we see more sunshine and warmer temperatures, that allows the atmosphere to de-stabilize and produce stronger storms in the afternoon and evening.
