A juvenile has been arrested after a prank 911 call prompted Mt. Healthy High School to evacuate on Wednesday. According to Mt. Healthy Police, a call came in around 11 a.m. to 911 from a person staying there was going to be gun violence at Mt. Healthy High School. The 911 call is less than 10 seconds long. The caller can be heard saying, “I’m going to shoot up the school,” before hanging up.Charles Ogdan, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Operations with the Mt. Healthy City School District, said the threat was called in to 911 from outside of the school.Ogdan said students were then evacuated to the football field out of precaution and were sent home on buses or picked up outside of the school.School officials said police cleared the building and no threat was found.Mt. Healthy Police said upon further investigation, they determined there were no safety concerns and the threats made were not credible.On Thursday, Mt. Healthy Police said they identified the person responsible and the juvenile was arrested on charges of felony inducing panic and was taken into custody. “It was again confirmed that there was never a threat to the school,” police said in the update.
