COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ten people, including two teenagers, were injured after a shooting in the Short North Arts District early Sunday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Columbus Police Sgt. Joe Albert said officers received calls just before 2:30 a.m. about a shooting in the 1100 block of North High Street, between Standard Hall and Michael’s Goody Boy. There were also officers working special duty in the area who heard several gunshots.
Officers found six people along North High Street who were shot. Most were taken to different hospitals by medics while at least one of them was taken by a police cruiser, according to Sgt. Albert.
Police were later told about four other victims who were driven to hospitals on their own.

The shooting victims were all males and their ages ranged between 16 and 27. Two of the males who were shot were juveniles, according to Sgt. Albert.
Police said a man was listed in critical condition and the other shooting victims were described as stable.
Sgt. Albert said the shooter was described as a male dressed in all black who entered a white Honda Civic before leaving the scene.
Sgt. Albert said officers pursued the vehicle on North 4th Street and Interstate 670 and attempted to stop it several times. Police lost the suspect vehicle on Grandview Avenue.
Police provided photos of the suspect vehicle.
