A 4-month-old child who was abducted from his mother’s home on Saturday in San Joaquin County has been found, officials said.According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s office, the ex-boyfriend of the child’s mother was suspected of taking the baby from her home on Mokelumne Avenue in Thornton around 4 p.m. Thirty-one-year-old Isaiah Reginal Michael Teague was found in Sacramento, but the child was not with him, the sheriff’s office said. Teague is not the child’s father.Teague told investigators that the baby was left with a family member. The sheriff’s office said they believed an Amber Alert request was submitted.Sgt. Amar Gandhi with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said the baby was later found safe, and deputies were working on reuniting the child with their mother.
