Julia Fox shows off her new platinum blonde hair and promotes upcoming memoir Down The Drain

Julia Fox was a blonde bombshell while leaving a photoshoot in New York on Thursday.

The Uncut Gems actress, 33, showed off her new long platinum blonde tresses, which were styled straight and cascaded down her shoulders. 

It was a change from her usual darker hue, though the star is not afraid to experiment with her hair and has previously rocked various shades of colors, including red, brown and black.

Kanye West‘s ex-girlfriend – who recently donned a bridal gown during New York Fashion week – wore a chic zip-up burgundy jacket along with a mid-length skirt with star embellishments.

The mom-of-one finalized her outfit with pink high-heel boots, and held a clutch featuring the cover of her upcoming memoir, Down The Drain, which will ‘lightly’ discuss her former romance with Kanye, 46.

Julia wore picture-perfect makeup for the occasion, including nude lipstick. 

A synopsis for Fox’s memoir reads: ‘Fox recounts her turbulent path to cultural supremacy: her parents’ volatile relationship that divided her childhood between Italy and New York City and left her largely raising herself.

‘A possessive and abusive drug-dealing boyfriend whose torment continued even from within Rikers Island; her own trips to jail as well as to a psychiatric hospital; her work as a dominatrix that led to a complicated entanglement with a sugar daddy; a heroin habit that led to New Orleans trap houses and that she would kick only after the fatal overdose of her best friend.

‘Her own near-lethal overdoses and the deaths of still more friends from drugs and suicide; an emotionally explosive, tabloid-dominating romance with a figure she dubs “The Artist”; a whirlwind, short-lived marriage and her trials as a single parent striving to support her young son.’

Julia recently revealed that she will ‘lightly’ touch on her whirlwind romance with rapper Kanye, 46, in the book in order to avoid ‘bad blood.’

‘It’s like six pages,’ she told E! News of the content mentioning the hip hop mogul. ‘I feel like I went very lightly on it. I’m not trying to have bad blood or anything, it’s all in the past,’ she added.

Julia and Kanye split in February of 2022, following a six-week whirlwind romance, with Fox declaring at the time that she was never ‘in love’ with the rapper. 

Her hotly anticipated book is set to hit the shelves on October 10. 

Julia has also been busy making a splash during New York Fashion Week, and recently modeled a wedding gown to The Wiederhoeft show.

Ensconced by a long white veil, she flaunted her toned legs in the wedding mini dress that featured a bustier-style top.

She paired her eye-catching look with elbow-length long white gloves and sky-high white platform heels.

She was also seen carrying a dainty purse on her way to the fashion show that appeared to have, ‘Till Death Do Us Part’ emblazoned on the front.

It has been one of an assortment of attention grabbing looks that the Italian-American actress has rocked during fashion’s biggest week in the city that never sleeps.

Recently baring (nearly) all of herself in a risqué chain bodysuit designed by supermodel Naomi Campbell for starters, Julia also flaunted her chiseled abs in a different skimpy white get-up last Friday on her way to another event during NYFW.

The beauty has been married once: to Peter Artemiev ​from 2018 until 2020. They share a son named Valentino, who was born in January 2021 after their divorce.
