KCCI is tracking a shooting in Algona Wednesday night.The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation said there was a shots fired call involving an officer. The suspect is still at large.The officer’s condition is unknown.Algona radio station KLGA reports that the shooting happened near the Kossuth County Fairgrounds on Algona’s south side.The Iowa DCI is asking residents to lock down in place. In a Facebook post, the city of Algona asked residents to “lock all doors and vehicles and stay indoors until further notice.”KCCI has a crew on the way and is working to gather more information.
