Baz Luhrmann made a show-stopping arrival at the Oscars in LA on Sunday.
The Australian director, 60, wore a $263,000 necklace by David Webb to the awards ceremony as he posed alongside his wife Catherine Martin and daughter Lillian.
The statement piece featured a stunning carved jade plaque surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds and black enamel.
Baz ensured his necklace was on display as he posed on the champagne carpet at the Dolby Theatre in a black suede jacket and matching pants.
The filmmaker placed the jewellery on top of a plain white shirt for added emphasis, and completed his look with shiny black shoes.

Baz’s wife Catherine sparkled in a sequinned navy dress, which had a gold border around the neckline and base.
The 58-year-old costume designer, the most awarded Australian in Oscar history, accessorised her ensemble with a pair of chunky gold heels.
Catherine, known for collaborating with her husband on multiple films including Moulin Rogue! and The Great Gatsby, also wore oversized black glasses.
The couple’s daughter Lillian, 19, looked glamorous in a gold sequinned dress as she embraced her father on the red carpet.
She tied her hair up and opted for a natural makeup look comprising nude lipstick and eyeshadow.

Baz has received a Best Picture nomination for directing the acclaimed biopic Elvis, about the life of the legendary singer Elvis Presley.
Catherine is nominated for Best Costume Design for her work on the same movie.
The critically acclaimed biopic stars Austin Butler as the King of Rock and Roll, Olivia de Jong as his wife Priscilla, and Tom Hanks as Elvis’ infamous manager Tom Parker.
The movie follows Elvis from his impoverished childhood through to his emergence as a global superstar, before his untimely death in 1977 at the age of 42.
