25 years after calling it quits on her modeling career, 50-year-old Christy Turlington returned to the runway during New York Fashion Week.
The supermodel closed out the Marc Jacobs show at NYFW, a quarter of a century after walking away from the modeling industry in 1994, a year after her last Marc Jacobs show in 1993, according to People.
Turlington, who was wearing a black dress that appeared to be made of feathers on the front of the dress, also took to Instagram to deliver a rather heartfelt statement.

‘C. I have a 15 year old daughter who I desperately want to see and hear me and this is a medium that “speaks”to her,’ Turlington added, before thanking some of the biggest names in modeling.
